Every ACC+ dog is reviewed individually.

3. Share Their Current Care Instructions
We’ll need clear, current information about your dog’s restrictions, medications and care plan. Additional veterinary documentation may be requested depending on their needs.
4. We’ll Plan Their Care
If your dog is approved for ACC+, we’ll build their routine around their current needs and instructions.
As your dog’s recovery progresses and their veterinarian changes those instructions, their ACC+ routine can change too.

ACC+ gives them a structured place to spend the day or stay overnight while following their current care instructions.
If you already have a surgery date, we encourage you to contact us early so we can also talk about support before and after their procedure.
How soon after TPLO surgery can my dog come to ACC+?
Right away, once your dog has been discharged by their veterinarian and is medically stable.
ACC+ is designed to support dogs during the early stages of post-surgical recovery, when they may need the most help with restricted activity, medications, mobility, potty breaks and rest.
If your dog’s TPLO surgery is already scheduled, contact us before the procedure. We can review their anticipated needs ahead of time so you have a care plan in place for when they come home.
You don’t have to wait until your dog is further along in recovery to ask for help.
Can ACC+ give my dog medication after surgery?
Yes. Medication support is one of the ways ACC+ can help during recovery.
Our team can administer approved medications according to the instructions and schedule provided for your dog.
We’ll review your dog’s medications and care requirements before their stay so our team understands what they need and when they need it.
Can you keep my dog from running and playing during recovery?
Yes. That’s one of the biggest reasons ACC+ can be a great alternative to traditional daycare during recovery.
Your dog doesn’t have to participate in group play.
Instead, we can structure their day around individual potty breaks, controlled movement, rest, appropriate mental enrichment and their current activity restrictions.

We don’t diagnose conditions or create rehabilitation plans. Your veterinary or rehabilitation team determines what your dog should be doing, and we can help carry out eligible exercises they’ve prescribed.
Can my dog stay overnight while recovering?

Your veterinarian diagnoses your dog’s condition, provides medical treatment and determines their recovery plan.
ACC+ provides specialized day and overnight care for medically stable dogs while helping you carry out eligible parts of that plan—such as medications, restricted activity, mobility assistance, potty breaks, prescribed exercises and appropriate enrichment.
Your veterinarian handles the medicine. We help with the recovery routine between visits.
Can I leave my dog alone after TPLO surgery?
It depends on your veterinarian’s instructions and your dog’s individual needs. TPLO recovery can involve activity restrictions, medications, scheduled potty breaks and mobility support. If your dog needs care or supervision while you’re at work or away from home, ACC+ provides daytime and overnight recovery care for eligible, medically stable dogs.
How long does it take a dog to recover from ACL or CCL surgery?

We follow your veterinarian’s care instructions and can help with restricted activity, scheduled medications, mobility assistance, individual potty breaks, rest, mental enrichment and prescribed recovery exercises.
This can give your dog a structured place to continue recovering while you work, travel or simply need help managing their care at home.

Standard ACC Plus pricing:
ACC Plus Daycare: $100/day
ACC Plus Boarding: $150/night
Please confirm the current fee schedule with the resort before quoting a specific price. Standard check-out is by 1:45 p.m. Later pick-up times may be available for an additional fee.
All ACC Plus reservations are subject to review and approval based on the dog’s complete care, medical, behavioral, and handling requirements.
